Has it really been 20 days since I last posted on my blog? It couldn't be, could it? It's not that I haven't had anything to blog about because I certainly have. I guess there are just so many things a mom (a.k.a grocery getter, coupon clipper, food cooker, cleaner of house, hugs and kisses giver, homework checker, temperature taker, scrapbook maker, blog writer, house renovator, baby rocker, etc.) can do in 24 hours!
So, you ask...what have we been up to this past 3 weeks?? Here are a few highlights....
1. Sydney had her 6 month well check last week. She now weighs 20.3 lbs and is 26.5 in. long. She gained almost 3lbs and 2.5 in since her 4 month appointment!! She is a growing babe for sure. She started eating baby food recently and thoroughly enjoys it (surprise, surprise!) I also bought her her first sippy cup. And even though she wasn't quite sure what to do with it...
So, you ask...what have we been up to this past 3 weeks?? Here are a few highlights....

...but she sure had fun trying to figure it out!
2. I took the kids to the doctors for their seasonal flu shot. They were not happy about it, but they all put on brave faces...that is except Sammy who acted as if I was taking him the slaughter house....yikes!
3. All the kids ended up with a cough and a low grade fever last week, but have recovered quite nicely except Sydney...she still has a runny nose and a cough. I'm pretty sure it was just the season cold...thankfully nothing serious considering whats going around.
4. I finally stepped out of my comfort zone and painted my living room an actual color!! No more boring ol' beige for us! And I am so happy that I did...I LOVE it! It needed to be done anyway, but I was so afraid to pick a color because what if it didn't look good...then I decided nothing could look worse than these old beat up walls anyway, so why not?!?!
5. We also made our annual trip to the Pumpkin Farm. It ended up being a chilly sunny day but we still had lots of fun, got some cute pictures and brought home 4 lovely pumpkins.
That's about it for now. Nothing to exciting, outrageous or unbelievable, but that's how we've spent the last 20 days. Hopefully it won't be another 2o before you hear from me again.
